The most positive thing that has come out of being an athletic director is witnessing athletes mature and grow throughout the years of being a part of an athletic program. The unique perspective that an AD gets in watching them over the years is almost unlike any other teaching position because the student is in their element and you can see them thrive and grow year after year.
The greatest part of being involved in the CCSADA is the connections that are developed. The amount of people and resources far outweigh anything that you can get from a book or seminar. The relationships that develop become almost like family.
